Mr. Paton-Gay has been active in the Oil and Gas Business in Alberta and the United States over the past 20 years. He has an extensive knowledge and an impressive collection of business relationships in the Sector. Over the course of the last twenty years, he has founded and been Chairman / President of two Private Oil and Gas Companies in addition to sitting on many Corporate and
Public Sector Governance Boards. The Private Companies were successfully grown from small initial production rates to significant daily production. He has also served as one of the founding Directors of the Explorers and Producers Association of Canada.
Mr. Paton-Gay has been active with Public Sector Boards in both a Director's capacity as well as a Trustee capacity. He was a candidate, representing the Governing Party of Canada, and stood for election to the Canadian Parliament in the 1997 General Election.
